With the core update to using TinyMCE 4, your IpsumJam module will stop working. I expect this only applies to designers and people currently preparing their site - I haven't heard of any live sites using IpsumJam (except for the service api at ipsum.ultrajam.net).

https://www.jamroom.net/the-jamroom-network/forum/announcements/13452/jamroom-core-529-update-to-tiny-mce-4

I will get the IpsumJam client module updated as soon as possible to work with TinyMCE 4, please bear with me if you are currently using it whilst developing your site. Shouldn't take more than a couple of days to get the update into the Marketplace.

probably the only file you will need to change is:
tab_ajax_(your module).tpl

and in that change:
tinyMCEPopup.editor
to
top.tinymce.activeEditor

Hey Steve,

I've got the latest core and IpsumJam module installed, but I can't get IpsumJam to insert text, when I click the "Insert Text" button, nothing happens.

I see this in my browser error console:

This can be fixed by moving the resource to the same domain or enabling CORS.

Hi Douglas,

Thanks for letting me know about this.

Which browser are you using?

Sorry Steve,

I'm not getting emails about replies to this forum.

I'm using FireFox

douglas:I'm not getting emails about replies to this forum.

I know the feeling, I never click the topic notification button either.

I haven't seen that using FF. I'll give it a thorough check over the weekend and see if I can find why. From memory the callback isn't used, but is there to prevent the cross origin error, so that's where I will look first.

Are you using FF on a pc? And is the site local or on an online server?

I've actually got the notification checked for this thread, but I didn't see that you've replied. That could be due to the fact that I get a ton of emails and may have just overlooked it though.

Yes, this is on a PC and on an online server. I'll PM you the login so you can check it out if you want?

Thanks!

Thanks Douglas,

Yes I see this on your site using Firefox, not sure why I don't see it here. I'll get this fixed up as soon as I can.
