The Skin Audit module is designed for skin developers or users who are developing a customized version of a skin. The Skin Audio will scan a skin for (possible) unused CSS classes, images that might be able to be optimized for size as well as images that do not appear to be being used. Note that this module can't search everywhere and may report a false positive, but it gives you a good starting point when refining your custom skin.
