The 'Comments' on the timeline don't work and they used to.
Could that be an 'update' problem as I've exhausted all possibilities!
Thanks.

When you click on that comment icon you are taken to the relevant item detail page and you comment there.
Is that not happening for you?

Hi @Paul - No. It does go 'somewhere' but there's no place to add a comment. It was working.

Your members quota, which most of your user profiles belong to (including @dubophonic in your above screenshot), does not have the Comment module enabled for it, so none of their items will show the comment form on their item detail pages.
Maybe that is the issue?

Try it now. I've disabled your Disqus module. With the templates in the jrFollowme skin, if Disqus is enabled, Comment forms are not.
Sites don't need both modules enabled normally.

Hi @paul Sorry to get back to you but the comments are not working again. This time it seems they're not working on an uploaded video. Same as before. I've done nothing new except upgrade. Thanks

Can you post the link to the video?

Thanks!

Hi, This is where the 'posts' of the 'uploaded' video are https://fatsafatsa.com/fatsafatsatv I don't know if you'll see them but I can send you a login if not. The comment doesn't work on the original 1st post of the video > when clicked on comment it goes here https://fatsafatsa.com/fatsafatsatv/video
Thank You

The only issue I see here:
https://fatsafatsa.com/fatsafatsatv

is the comment count isn't showing.

The link is correct, it is suppose to take you to the videos detail page and it does for me.

Hope this helps!

No it doesn't help as there's no logic to what you say. Please see 2JPG's On one I clearly click on the comments tab, as it does say 'post your comment' - it takes me to the video page..... so where on that page do I comment? There's no comment tab.
Thanks

You have a customised FollowMe feedback.tpl template on your site. I temporarily disabled that so the original template is used instead and the comment link works ok, so you need to work out why the template was changed and maybe revert that part of it.

The first image is not of the video's detail page, its of a list of videos.

That link needs to point to the videos detail page not the list page because thats where comments are made:

Hi @paul perhaps my problem is within an update - I have not customised FollowMe feedback.tpl I don't know what or where it is. @michael who has come into the conversation - sure what you say is correct, but that's what I'm saying - it doesn't go there and it should. Even more weird from this morning, some comment buttons when clicked go to 'page not found'! The articles exist. Shall I do you a video?

Quote: I have not customised FollowMe feedback.tpl I don't know what or where it is.

Checkout your skin templates tab to see that it has been modified.
I've disabled the modified skin now and the comments link is working as expected.

Hi @paul I've been checking on and off since yesterday and it seems ok. Although some changes have been done to the skin it only concerns the logos, so I can't seem to find anything connected to comments.
Thank you for your help and getting us up and running again.
