sitemap crawler stalls over and over on images (updated)

i was assuming it was a beta module issue, but now not certain
before it appeared the size was missing but not so now (caches were cleared and integrity check ran)

i suspected and i think deselected the 'compress images before serving' option actualy just went to check i disabled it but cant even find it now

i have not made any template changes in a year or longer it is not a template issue
(not 1 of mine anyway)

it started about a month ago (give or take i literally pay no attention to time)
i have not been able to get a sitemap crawl done since march 25th according to webmaster tools
sooo i would suspect any updates especialy beta ones that were released within a week of that date

It shows ok to me.

My first thoughts are: Does that sitemap software you are using have an error log? Maybe its complaining about something specific.

it does and it usualy generates errors 5xx 403 etc timeouts .. but no error no timeout .. just stalls.. hitting stop or pause never stops or pauses (never reaches a timeout) so no errors are logged in this case
