Hi,
I've noticed recently that my font size in Group discussion posts has seemed just a little smaller than the font size in my Forums discussion posts. I've looked all over the place to adjust this so they can both be the same size as in my Forums discussions, but I can't seem to find exactly where to adjust this.
Here's a screenshot from both a Forum discussion and a Group discussion... you can see the Group font is just a tiny bit smaller... but it's just smaller enough to make it harder to read without squinting (for me anyway):

Your skin still Ninja based? If so -

ACP=>Skins=>'Your Skin'=>Style

Select the text.css file and edit the 'normal' CSS setting for a bigger font.

To me your fonts.jpg image does look slightly different, but I cant see the technical point that is different. I overlapped a paragraph from your groups with one from your forum and the text size looks to be the same. (screenshot)

Could you put the same body of text into a group and again into a forum.

anything, eg:
Accusamus sit occaecati sit et pariatur provident. Odit consequatur provident magnam quam. Accusantium adipisci at autem. Et assumenda non ea illum et et eos sint.

Vitae dolorem quia odio provident consequatur. Cum nesciunt similique omnis temporibus praesentium consequatur exercitationem. Consequatur odio excepturi delectus ex ea aut est enim.

Not sure what was going on when you did that Michael .... but when I did what Paul suggested it fixed things and now the forums text and the Groups text look to be both the same, both 14pt and easy to read.

Funny, I thought to check in my skin's style files for site.css, html.css, and jrgroupdiscuss.css.... but somehow I didn't notice the text.css. Duh!

Michael I see the screenshot of what you did overlapping, and though it clearly is the same size there, I'm sure somehow the images must have been resized or something along the way. I am absolutely sure the Group posts text was more cramped and smaller- it was making me squint and was very noticable when switching between Forums and Groups discussions.
But all is well now- uniform and easy on the eyes.
I have no idea how this discrepancy happened, but I remember suddenly noticing a few weeks ago or so. I didn't make any text changes but perhaps one of the updates did something obscure.

Thank you both!

I love when things can be so easily fixed. :)
(and thanks Paul for pointing me to that particular .css file... it should have been obvious to me but I didn't see it there in the list.)

This looks simple to do. I am trying this now for my "Normal" CSS setting.

Is there any technical reason to make the other text.css settings all the same font size?

I am not touching them now, but please note the following questions.

Ranking numbers = what are these, and where do they appear?
Hilited (=highlighted?) text - why does this have a separate font size setting from normal text? Highlighting is a color effect.
Media title - this is understandable
Media title link - usually when I make a link using html, the font size is determined by the existing text size. Why does this have a separate setting?
Media title hover - this is understandable.

Thanks all.

Update.... I tried this, but found no effect. This is probably because my forums and group discussions are set up with a full text editor with adjustable font sizes, and this may override a general skin setting. I will revert my .cc setting to 12 pt and leave it alone.

PJ, have you also checked to see your general site font size setting in site.css style tabs?

I too wondered what the 'ranking' thing meant.
I approach it this way- if i find some area of my site that has text that's uncomfortably small to read, then I go after that particular setting rather than try to make all text settings consistent. My 'default' for ease of reading is 14pt, so over time most text settings wind up being that unless I've set larger titles.
