I've jsut updated a local site, and the jrElastic header and footer background image is no longer showing.

I see this when inspecting the element in FF:
background-image: url("{$jrElastic_img_url}/bckgrd.png");

I also see that in a cloned Nova @SteveX although the Nova skin seems to be working my clone isn't.
I tested the Nova skin and the element displays

background: url("http://jr.punkbp.com/image/img/skin/bg.png") repeat-x scroll 0 50% rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);
Which is obviously right

I have run diffmerge and changed the css updates from the New Nova update to my cloned skin from

{$ jamroomurl} / skin / img / bg.png etc

to

{$jrPunkBP_img_url}/bg.png;}

Also in the acp, the skin images are showing there but not getting through to the site

The element for my clone ends up

background: url("$jrNova_img_url}/bg.png") repeat-x scroll 0 50% rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);

Mine is an unmodified jrElastic.

I just tried changing the jrElastic screenshot images in the acp, enabled them, and reset the image cache. They show as active under the images tab, but the original screenshots still show under the info tab.

I think the Marketplace has the fix for this, try updating your jrElastic skin.

Yeah, something isn't right.

I have a test site and a dev site.

My test site, which I just updated via the Marketplace, shows the image and I don't see an issue.

My dev site, which I update via our repo, is not showing the image and I can't change it via the image tab.

I'll see if I can figure out whats going on.

Brian has a fix for this and I believe will have it in the Marketplace soon.

Yep - it's in Core 5.1.6 which is available now. 5.1.6 also has a really cool new "template compare" function in the template editor for you to compare your customized templates to the stock templates to see what has changed and (optionally) update your custom to be the same as the stock template.

Let me know if you see any issues.

Thanks!

Thanks that fixes it.

The template compare is nice, and very cool that you can compare across previous versions and across different skins

Right on - hopefully it is useful for site owners that have cloned a skin in that they can keep their templates up to date easier by referencing the changes in the skin they cloned from.

Thanks!
