On an iPad Pro 12.9" the Elastic2 menu icon on profile pages doesn't work. It works on the site pages, and it works on iPhone on all pages, but looking at it on an iPad Pro nothing happens when you tap it.

I verified that on two sites running Elastic2 and can check on an ordinary iPad when I get back home.

It's the same on an ordinary iPad, using Safari.

Also on the iPad Pro using Safari, Firefox and Chrome.

I noted this 11 months ago: https://www.jamroom.net/the-jamroom-network/forum/design-and-skin-customization/49012/elastic2-tablet-issue

After waiting for a fix, I now just disable it entirely on tablets. There are a couple places in the header that check for mobile and tablet. Just delete the tablet check.

That indicates that the slider does not work - not the menu. I see this on my ipad as well and am checking it out.

I found the root cause for this and have it fixed in the next release. You can fix now by editing the profile_footer.tpl and changing this:

{if jrCore_is_mobile_device()}

To this:
{if jrCore_is_mobile_device() || jrCore_is_tablet_device()}

Actually looking at this more, I think we only want the hamburger menu on mobiles - not tablets. Tablets should show the desktop version since they typically have enough space to do so.

Haha - that’s what I was trying to say.
