when my site was on socialengine we used paypall for subscriptions on our site which made it easy to collect recurring payments some of my members are still sending the payments using paypall even though it is no longer on our site now that we are on jamroom. I see the foxycart module but it requires a monthly fee to use ? paypall is free though so is there any way to do this? without foxycart?

Sorry Zach - They are still in the beta channel so get them from there.
They are pretty stable now though so you should be ok to use them.

Zach- go to your Marketplace module, and to the TOOLS tab. Click on "Marketplace channels" and ENABLE the BETA channel.

Do you have the subscription module installed?

Hope this helps!

Subscription quotas should not be signup quotas. Set up a free signup quota to get users onboard then give them the means to subscribe so as to get more quota features.

When logged in, users can see a link to the subscription plans as a tab when updating their profile. The url is http://yoursite.com/subscribe/subscriptions
There is a general subscription plan view at http://yoursite.com/subscribe/plans but the template that controls that isn't complete as yet (this module is still beta). I'll check that out.
Thanks
