I don't know if this is normal or not but every time anyone votes on the poll on my site it shows in my timeline that i have voted on the poll?

Only things you write should appear on YOUR timeline.

Not seeing any option to share a VOTE to a timeline at all. Something custom you've added?

Disable the 'Allow actions' in the module's Global Config section.
