I have done some testing with different IP addresses and I have observed similar behavior.

solved Play Count
Some of our members observed sometimes if they play a song the song counter increases instantly, other times it appears nothing happens or the play count increases over night.
I have done some testing with different IP addresses and I have observed similar behavior.

Sounds as though it might be to do with caching. Maybe it changes 'instantly' after the cache has just expired?

does this mean one individual play per song per day per IP, meaning a user can play more songs per day and each song counts as long it is a different song?
or only one song in total per day per IP
