investigating @mentions are not working ?
using follow me skin and i tried a few mentions and they show in timeline like this any idea why ?

it shows the @ and name of person i mentioned but it does not show the text i typed ?
Weird - so you're typing in some text that has a @mention in it, and all that is coming out is the linked profile URL like that?

Then it should be working. Can you give any more info on WHAT you are typing in? Are you cutting and pasting? Are you including URLs? Any extra info can help try and figure it out.

here is what i did i clicked the mention button on this persons profile page, typed in to the box a message and then look at timeline and it is blank
