solved How to create profiles in celebrity skin ?
if you use celebrity skin and set the profile menu as a drop down how do you find the little plus symbol to create new profiles?

I've switched my dev site to Celebrity and can see the '+' create profile icon on my profile.

in the settings for the skin it lets you hide the profile menu
here is a picture of it
i am using a cloned version of the skin and i switched over to the default celebrity skin to see if it was any of the css changes i have made causing the issue but its the same thing on the default one so ..
Set my skin the same as yours - still shows for me.
Are you looking at the profile as a master admin, or profile admin?

as a master but my users cant see it either
ok i went in to my customize settings for my profile and changed landing page to default and now i see everything
i guess the issue is if you change personal landing page you can no longer get to default index page?
Send me your site details and master admin login and I'll take a look.
Btw, unless your users are power users, they shouldn't see the create profile link.

they can see it they were looking at the wrong thing it was basically just that we were using diff landing pages as home pages on our profiles but i can change that so no one can change landing pages except me and that will fix the issue
So is this still an issue? I can switch to different profile pages and the '+' icon still shows.
