Douglas, thanks for your help , but this should be dummy proof, I spent more than 3 days now doing this , and the JR team must come to realize the fact "there needs to be a better CSS"
I recommend all text modification should be on one navigation page , all background modification should be on one modification page , all banners modification on one page and so one....
OR make the links only available to admins , i.e. If I wanted to edit "Site news BGC" right beside site news there is a small CSS edit icon that only available to admins that goes to
http://dubmusic.com/core/skin_admin/style/skin=jrNova/file=text.css/section=advanced .....
Or , say you wand to edit the page you are on BGC , a small edit CSS icon would be some where on the page that only the admin sees that you click on and the collar picker would popup ... I prefer a collar picker pop up that shows the text properties ....
Douglas, could you please experiment , this you can try it on my site ....
Edit the "header.tpl" lets try a few targets , make different icons available only to the admin that goes to specific targets , i.e. BGC and so on ..... or post the codes here so we could use page creator to create a page with the examples , more can be added on later
I hope to see this in an upgrade..
