A couple of pre sales questions

Hi there

I'm new here and looking to see if jamroom would be a good fit for the project I have in mind.

I wanted to ask:

1) Is it possible to have my jamroom powered site to be translated into Spanish by way of a drop down menu and of course the user selecting Spanish from the list.

2) Is it possible to administer different tiers of membership whereby on my site the member can pay a monthly fee for the premium features...(I noticed the Foxy cart plugin and wondered if that could cater for the said model)

Hope that's okay

thanks very much

Jamroom skins and modules all include language files. You can edit them and create as many languages as you want and users can pick the language they prefer.

Jamroom uses a quota system for user levels and has a subscription system. You can have as many as you like.

Well thank you very much for your reply....could you please advise what is the "quota" system...would that be whereby there's a fixed amount of members to the site I set up or something similar.

Thank you very much

You're very welcome.

Quota is the term we use for user level. All systems start with an "example" quota. You can create quotas and name them anything you want. There is no limit to the user count.

For example, many of our users feature music sites. Most of them have an "Artist" quota and a "member" quota. Artist would have privileges to upload audio. Members may only be able to create playlists or buy songs.

It's very very powerful. You'll love it.

Checkout our documentation, particularly this section that explains the quota system -

Thanks
