I want to override the selections offered in the "list 1-6" options in iSkin . I'm not seeing item ids in the permalinks...how do I retrieve them?

I'm not sure I understand your question. Have you looked at ACP > Skin Settings? You can define in great detail what appears in the lists.

If you know which items you want to appear, choose the module and insert the IDs.

Yes,...and there is an option there to override the standard selections by adding the item IDs separated by commas. Just trying to figure out how to identify the item ID of a page...photo...or gallery

If you want to know how to find the ID of an item, just go to the detail page and look in the url.

example

http://iskin.n8flex.com/jonas/blog/13/control

13 is the ID in this case.

You could also browse your datastore for the module. The first way is faster for me. In fact, I don't even go to the detail page I just hover over a link and look at the web URL.
