Please note attached screenshot.

This appears to be an issue only for two of our profiles (alternate profiles for our site's two master admins (but the profiles involved are NOT master admins).

It is not the browser, but two profiles that are showing this jrCore_module_url error.

We did ADD a new profile today [Issue Tracker] and gave it its own quota, and the two profiles which are displaying this error show here:
(second screenshot)
and when I hover over "Holly" I see that I have one private message waiting, but when I click on it I see (see third screenshot).

What have we done? How can we resolve this?

Anyone else had anything odd like this happen and have a tip for me/us?

*We have reset cache, run an integrity check, checked for updates, logged out and back in again, checked on Safari, Firefox and Chrome... and the issue seems linked ONLY with two profiles (Holly and Joanna).

Help? Thanks

Sorry! Obviously that info would help and is not obvious from the first screenshot... it's our home page timeline/latest activity stream.
*I was able to grab my private messages (from 'Holly') just now, but the weird display on home page is still showing.

I actually thought this might be a forum question rather than a ticket request, but maybe not? I'm suspecting that it's something 'stupid' I did while checking quota compare and making a few changes?

I thought maybe someone who had run into the same issue would share a 'check this' tip.

But I'll send a ticket now with my password for Holly and you can poke around if you want to.

Thanks.

What really helps us help you is if you can tell us how to reproduce the error. Thats 90% of the way to figuring out how to fix it.

Its unclear from your screenshot what the screenshot is of. Its something being shared to the timeline. Which module is it thats being shared to the timeline in your screenshot?

It might be a problem that effects everyone, or maybe just one that effect you, so its important to know if the issue has started happening after changes were made, or if it happens on a stock system.

Ideally we'd love to just fix the core issues for everyone, so its helpful to understand if this is an issue that exists everywhere or has been added in while customizing the site. :)

So to help us help you, a great structure to format requests is to phrase it like a question on an examination with enough info for us to be able to answer the question.

eg
------
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.
2.
3.

What is the expected result?

What happens instead?

Please provide any additional information, code samples or screenshots

Hi :)
I see that this challenge with {jrCore_module_url} here on jamroom.net, too.

I've just visited my profile page, checked the timeline, and saw the same thing that we see on our site.

I've found the root cause of this issue and am working on a fix - it is related to the Issue Tracker module that "watches" for comments being made on private tickets, so the comment is kept private - but the search criteria is actually too broad and it is making the search affect item_id's from other modules besides the issue tracker. It's a tricky section of code but I'm working on it.

Thanks!

Brian, again, THANK YOU.
I have saved a copy of your advice/plea above and will strive to post more clearly in the future.
The update you posted did the trick and we're back to beautiful Latest Activity streams again.
Big smiles,
