solved Foxycart Help!!

I have several Foxycart stores set up on the site but when opurchasing a product the shipping fee is not added to the total. I need to sort this out urgently so that I can launch a bunch of new stores on the site. Any ideas? to be honest the foxycart module needs an upgrade more then any other i spoke to the foxycart folks the foxycart core and api can handle far far more functionality then the jr module allows
shipping isn't something as simple as domestic and international
there are multiple shipping options and zones within the 'domestic' let alone international
ie 1 zip code might be more or less then another and shipping to a home varies from a business address
foxycart itself i think can handle adjusting the rates on the fly by direct api access to the shipping couriers
jamroom doesn't even alow you to set zones besides local and everywhere else
the differences, especially international can be wide
your only option is to set an average, then on some transactions lose money, others overcharge
(well foxycart and search both desperately need a overhaul)

as for the issue your facing how were you able to fix the 1 product? the same fix failed on the other?

Actually I didn't fix it....it worked once after I adjusted the cart include settings then went back to leaving out the shipping costs on the second test :(

The problem is (apart from the fact that shipping costs are not being included) that most of my stores will be set up by members in the UK and they have no option to indicate that they are shipping from there and not the US which buggers up the international and domestic shipping rates..

another reason why the entire module needs an overhaul (i believe the foxycart folks are willing to help redevelop a better module)

Turns out I misconfigured the Foxycart settings...who'd have thunk it :) Anyway I opened a ticket and as usual, within 24 hours, the problem is solved! Jamroom rules :)
