Hello,

I was triyng the Guestbook module and i noticed something.

When i sign a guestbook of a profile the counter of the Guestbook ob the profile header is not increasing but instead my profile's Guestbook counter increases with the number of the guestbook that i signed even though no one has singed my Guestbook.

So, i think there is a problem about Guestbook counter on the profile header menu.

This isn't an issue, as such, its the way Jamroom works.
A guestbook entry is a 'Jamroom Item', the same as a video, photo, comment, forum post etc., and as such is 'owned' by the profile that created it. If a profile uploads five songs, say, you would expect that to be reflected in the profile stats. Similarly, if a profile makes 5 entries in different guestbooks, he has created (and owns) 5 guestbook items. Hope that makes sense?
I agree that this could seem a bit of an anomaly. Where are you seeing it, and in what skin? I'll take a look and see if anything can be done.

Hello Paul, thanks for your respond.

I use Genosis.

But i think the way this module works doesn't make any sense because it shows zero value although there are items. On the other hand if you don't have any guestbook item written by others your counter show there are guestbook entries.

I am adding screen shots attachments for both of the situations.

I know this is how Jamroom works but i think in this case it doesn't look ok to me :)

Thanks - We'll check this out and maybe use the 'post count' as default for the Guestbook tab.

yeah this is going to require some updates in Genosis - while I tried to design the Genosis skin to work with a wide range of JR modules, the Guestbook modules is one of our very oldest, and will need a custom setup to have the counts properly supported in Genosis.

I'll get that updated and a new version out as soon as I can.
