Empty Title in Like notification emails

There have been a couple of reports of this recently so I created a ticket for it - https://www.jamroom.net/the-jamroom-network/tracker/1691/empty-item-title-in-like-email

Now I come to check it out I'm not seeing an issue.

Can anyone who has this issue let me have some further details so that I can replicate it? Ie. Is it just on particular items? Is it just likes, or dislikes? etc etc.
Thanks

This happens on all Likes on images on pmp-art.com.
We don't have dislikes.
I've just tested liking a blog post and that doesn't have a link in it either, just the title of the blog. This is the email notification received, where "New User Guides" is the blog post title....

QUOTE.....

I've just updated my support ticket on this subject. It was fixed for us (on image Likes) for a few days, but has now reverted to having no link in the email at all.

This is the email notification for a Like on image http://pmp-art.com/lornas-likes/gallery/123583/Quick%20Draw%20Lorna%2012June15b%20s.jpg , where "Art" is the name of the gallery containing the image:

Just to bring this thread up to date:
@Brian has upgraded our Like functionality on pmp-art.com so that this problem was solved, 4th Oct I think. He also added a hotlink on the number of likes displayed on the image page, so we can click to see a pop-up window of all the profiles who liked the image.

In the last 4 days, this has gone very wrong. We now no longer have the link in the Like email notification. Liking an image actually decreases the number of likes. Liked images appear multiple times in a profile's "Recent Likes", but reportedly, not at all in the page Items You Like.
The worst problem is that Like notifications are being generated multiple times - we have reports of as many as 68 emails being sent for the same Like action.

This is a major problem for us. Apart from the additional cost of sending emails, it is very annoying for our users and is breaking the lines of communication which we are still trying to rebuild. The sending of excessive emails would be even worse, but for another problem we have, which is that a lot of users' notifications were all switched off without any action on their part... This seems to have occurred at the last update, but I can't be sure. I will raise a separate ticket for that.

The ticket we have open for the Likes problem is this one...
https://www.jamroom.net/ticket/22877/activity-time-line

I know you're looking at this. I'm commenting here to keep this thread up to date and explain the urgency. Thanks.

Hi Lorna
Sorry about this. I'm going through the Like module looking for issues and making changes to fix what I think the issue is for the multiple emails. This will take me anothe day or two as I want to thoroughly test it before installing it on your site. In the meantime, maybe disable your like module?
