Got home today and my website just comes up as a white screen ? Server is online as I can get to all the files and skins in Arvix file manager.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Looks like you have an extra closing {/if} tag in one of your skin templates.

That same exact happened to me too a week or so ago. Amazing what havoc one little "if" can create!

Not quite sure what happened there as was only editing the css templates, lost all my lists on the homepage too. Ended up deleting the whole cloned skin with all the styling I did to it so back where I started from on clean skins. Not sure what I am going to do yet whether to carry on re-building it all over again.

Yikes! That has not happened to me at all- I am on Ningja skin and not using site builder either, like you. Have you been makingcloned copies of your customized skin every once and a while as you get a lot done? I have never lost a whole bunch of stuff like that. Is there a server backup of your skin from the day before maybe?

John - was it a Jamroom function that caused this trouble? Let me know - you should never lose any data like this from a Jamroom function.

Thanks!

Brian not quite sure what happened, one minute it was working fine then came back to it a bit later in the day and the screen was blank. The logs where reporting an unexpected 'if' was causing the issue although I never added any 'ifs' as was only adding css not editing any of the main code except for maybe a few of the size values but that was only changing those values and not anything else. Once I found the 'if' as reported in the log the site came back online but all the lists on the home page where no missing.

It's fine about me deleting the skin as it was more an explority thing for how to find what and where I add design stuff and how everything works. I have a few sites in mind which I want to build so will build them from scratch on the faster hosting once I have everything on paper of how I want them to look.

When I started editing JR's css files some months ago I had serious issues with them becoming corrupt, but once I swtiched to phpstorm this problem vanished.

Was using a variety of methods before notepad, Expression Web, inbuilt text editor in FlashFXP and all three would/could end up corrupting the css file for whatever reason.
