Text Permissions are not being saved with the Site Builder skin.

Any advice?

Thank you.

So when you check the other options there, they are not saving?

They appear to, but when I return to the Global Quota for the Text Permissions, they have returned to default.
On the Ninja Skin, they remain as I saved them. But not on the Site Builder Skin.

OK - so it sounds like Site Builder is getting in the way there somehow - I will get a ticket open on that.

Thanks!

Not able to reproduce here.

What i did:
* with jrSlate set as the active skin
* go to ACP -> SYSTEM CORE -> QUOTA CONFIG
* uncheck a few of the active text formatters
* click "Save Changes"
* go to ACP -> SKINS -> NINGJA -> Set as active skin
* return to ACP -> SYSTEM CORE -> QUOTA CONFIG
* add a few more check marks -> Save Changes

Went around like that a few times but am un-able to make it fail.

Could you provide steps to see it happening please so I can check it out.

Thanks

I created a second user quota.
The main user quota I copied and designated for myself as Admin, the second quota for general users.
The text permissions that I added are saved in the general user quota, but not the Admin quota.
When I attempt to add them to the Admin quota they are returned to the default permissions each time I view the Admin quota.
I think there must be a cliche there somehow.

Thank you,
Alex

I'm unable to reproduce this issue.

Here's a video of it working for me under these conditions. Please let me know if the video is what your talking about.

Thanks.

Yes this is the problem... I have made a small video here > > Text Permissions

As you will see, the permissions are not being saved in the quota.

I also have a member (example) quota. I can save any options in that quota, but not in the Admin quota which I created.

Thanks for posting this - so just to double check before I dive in, this only happens when using the Site Builder skin? If you switch to Elastic (for example) then it saves?

Thanks!

Yes I get the same problem with Elastic. So this is a Core issue, not a Skin issue?

I have tried creating an alternative Admin account by cloning a quota with the saved Text Permissions and Transferring my existing Admin account to that new quota but the Permissions are still not being saved.

Thanks,
Alex

If you're seeing this on other skins, then yes - it would be a module issue. I've never seen this happen before though, so my guess is that there is something unique about your install that is causing the issue.

Can you send your Jamroom login info and FTP info to support [at] jamroom [dot] net so I can check it out?

Thanks!

Just an update that I was able to finally replicate this on another customer's site and it has been fixed in User Profiles module version 1.2.7.

Update and you should not see this anymore.

Hope this helps!

Well actually it's not great, as the same problem exists, and I can't get into they system as my Arvixe host prevents me from accessing via FTP. They do not appear to be savvy enough to fix it.

This is not a hosting problem - did you update the module?
