Duplicate Marketplace Modules

Howdy guys,

Jamroom 5 is getting pretty darn slick!

Could someone take a look at my purchases tab on jamroom.net. It appears a few modules might be listed twice, and I think it may be interfering with my ability to use update all on my site.

Thanks for the feedback - that's appreciated!

The purchases tab should not affect updating in any way (it comes from the FoxyCart module, and the Network Marketplace module is what handles installs/updates).

What issue are you seeing when trying to update all? If you update items individually does that work OK?

Note that a few days back the Marketplace module was updated to address some issues we saw in the Update All function, so make sure and go into Marketplace -> Tools -> Reload modules or skins and "reload" the Marketplace module.

Let me know if that helps.

Thanks!

Hi Brian,

Individual updating works fine. I reloaded the module and got a little bit further.

I reach the screen that reads:

"All items have been successfully updated - click the close button to validate the update"

When I click close, the page does not stay on the subdomain http://mysite.com/dev/marketplace/system_update, instead it takes me to website.com/index.php?t=browse_artist. The updates don't take.

By the way, I tried it on a second site and update all works fine.

That sounds like it is being interfered with by a JR4 .htaccess file - are you running this in a sub directory of a JR4 install? I've seen a couple other weird issues that are related to running JR5 in a JR4 sub directory, so I'd recommend running JR5 in a sub domain of your JR4 install rather than a directory - you should have no problems then.

Let me know if that is what you are seeing.

Thanks!

You're right, it is in a subdirectory. I'll give your suggestion a try.

Thanks!
