Will be needing to add a chatroom at some point so are there ones that are compatible with JR5 or do you have one which you would recommend for JR5 ?

Right now I think the best bet would be a Javascript/jQuery based chat that should be easy to add to any existing template. I've had a "chat module" on my todo list here for some time, but it's going to be a pretty big endeavor to create (entire companies are based around JUST creating a chat script - we need it to be just one of our hundred+ modules).

There will definitely be one coming, but it's not been started yet.

Looks like I may be wrong - looks like "Comet Chat" has a Jamroom 5 version:

although their demo is on Jamroom 5.0.2 which is old - I'd recommend contacting them.
