Hi there,

I am thinking about buying the super pack bundle, but I would like to know if there is anything important that this bundle don´t contains..?

What I´m trying to is to create a community for musicians and band so that they can get in contact - and jam :)

I think it would be cool if bands are able to upload their music, photos and videoes to their profiles. Also the Merchandise Store would be pretty cool to have as well as a forum.

I believe this bundle has all I need (and maybe more), but please let me know if I´m missing something.

You can see my site at http://find-et-band.dk/ - it´s danish :)

Thanks alot for letting me know if this is the right choise for me..?

The Super Pack is a really good deal for probably 90% of sites - it's really designed for what you are looking to do, since it's the bundle designed for Jamroom 4 users upgrading to Jamroom 5, and has most everything you need for creating a music centered artist community.

Hope this helps!

Hi Brian,

Thanks for your quick answer :)

I´m pretty sure that I´m going to buy the Super Pack soon.

As far as I can see there shouldn´t be any issues in translating the different modules into danish, but please let me know if I´m right?

I´m looking forward to hear a little more about this...

Thanks again :)

All the module and skin translations work exactly the same, so there should be no issues translating.

Hope this helps!

I have now purchased and installed the Super Pack.

I´m facing the same issues as I did earlyer when I try to translate the modules into danish. I can´t choose da-DK (danish) as I can in the other translations for the other modules.

I cant´t seem to figure out why..? I have been creating a new language in the beginning from a week or two ago.

Let me know if you can help me out here :)

Thanks..!

So when you go into one of the new modules "language" tabs you don't see da-DK?

Thanks!

That´s right. I don´t see da-DK in the dropdown as I do for the other modules when I am under the "language" tabs.

Thanks! :)

OK I see the issue here and am working on a fix for it. Unfortunately it's not a "simple" fix so I can't propose a temporary workaround for it, but it will be fixed in the next Core release which I'll get out as soon as I can.

Thanks!

Actually I've found a workaround for this in the User Accounts module and will get a new release out that fixes this for you.

Thanks!

Ok, I see...

Can I translate the en-US language strings directely - if you know what I mean? Would that affect the language on my site? Is it a bad idea?

Let me know..? Otherwise I guess I´ll have to wait...

Thanks! :)

You don't want to modify the en-US lang strings - that's not going to work.

I just pushed out version 1.3.0 of the User Accounts module - go into your Marketplace -> System Updates and update to that new version.

I've updated the "Clone a Language" tool in User Accounts -> Tools to now not just create a new language, but it will update an existing cloned language with any new language strings that have been installed.

So run that tool and select en-US as the "Clone Language" and enter "da-DK" as the new language code, and run it - it will add the new lang strings from all the new modules and skins.

I'm working on updating the core Language installer to handle this automatically, but for now this can be used to "validate" and update existing lang strings.

Let me know if you see any issues.

Hope this helps!
