I have tried a few things but it seems like on the audio page and sharing it to facebook just shows a link from facebook back to our site instead of the player.
How do I get the audio to play on facebook?

Ahh - it had been like a week since a ShareThis/Facebook post - I was beginning to get concerned that Facebook had not broken something with their weekly change rollout. I'm so glad to see my concern was misplaced ;)

Do you have link? Is the song being shared over SSL?

Yes we are running ssl
How do i determine the link?
You just share it and it gets posted. where it has ended up is in our fb timeline

The audio I am trying to share is https://www.punkbandpromotions.com/johnsons-motorcar/audio/4971/johnny-is-a-rovin-blade

One thing I did was after the above is go into the Share This module into quote config and allow facebook player ( which wasn't set )
No difference

EDIT: No change. Just shows the bands site page but no audio
What am i doing wrong?
I go to the bands site page, click share on FB
Then I share as the page owner.
It shows the image and text but no player?

Make sure the following:

facebook.com
fbsbx.com

Are added to the Core -> Global Config -> Allowed Domains.

Nope still does the same thing.
Am I doing something wrong?
Do I have to Clear Caches etc?
I have added the
facebook.com
fbsbx.com
To the global core config
It still just shows theire page at Facebook with no player

( BTW I deleted each post on fb and created another share this after each edit )

I have changed the share this module to Allow Facebook Player
So can't work out why it's not showing

their quota shows Allow Facebook Player

I just tested from my dev system and it all works, so it's something about the setup on your site. Let me see if I can see what's wrong.

The only issue I see is one about the description:

but that should not keep it from playing. I see you have some other, embedded facebook javascript on the same page - I wonder if that is causing an issue.

Me the d&*$head, I was trying to share the audio with the FB icon instead of the share this icon

Glad to see it's working ;)

It looks like what FB is saying is that we should provide an "og:description" tag to explicitly give a description for the page. There's no "description" field however in an audio item (at least by default), so I would just let FB continue to get it on it's own.

Alternately, you could create a custom form field for audio update that is called "audio_description", and add it in as an og:descrption field in the Audio Support -> Templates -> jrAudio_facebook_open_graph.tpl file.
