Is this still doable by you guys since Jamroom has evolve so much from when I ask this question 3 years ago :)

I read the reply back on how maybe we can do it..just might be some thing many will want and easier for Jamroom Network to build :)

I've re-read those old posts and I'm thinking what I thought then - Favourites and Likes are pretty well the same thing and Likes are listable, so if necessary, a bit of template work could make the lists more detailed if need be.
Or maybe I'm misunderstanding what you are asking for?
Thanks
Pa

Yeah i do agree both Like and Favourites are pretty much the same concept
Im going to tinket around soon to clone the Likes module and name it Favourites and see what I can do . Once its clone and i added details here and there..is there something in the new module that will make it display in the drop down list of things ..like where the Like and events you attend shows up at.

If your referring to adding something to the user menu, you can do that by going to your ACP > Core > System Core > Tools > User Menu Editor.

yoursite.com/core/skin_menu

Hope this helps!

Actually, I think that if you clone the module correctly, and catch and change all instances of 'jrLike' and 'like' in the code, templates and language strings, it should just show in the menu dropdown.
One thing to consider when cloning though is that there is a dislike option in the Like module. You may want to take out the code for that in the new module, unless, of course, you want a 'not a favourite' option ;-)
Alternatively, less to code in and just don't enable the dislike option in the new module.
