solved Nova Skin

I have noticed a few things with the skin I cloned ( NOVA )
Excellent skin and whoever did it needs a medal!

But I have noticed a few fixes that need to be done for clients
  • The search_drop.png image is missing out of the jrActions img Folder ( tested old and new )
  • If you click on a "link this" in the timeline the resulting pages css isn't right ( text folds over the avatar )
  • you have two core mobile menus ( @media ) in two files which is confusing. One says max 767 the other 768 ….Reason?
  • The favicon is still not taking unless you put it in the latest core update/img folder ( sure that is core related )
  • The Admins although being followed, the followers don't get "all "their updates? If this is on purpose, is their a way for all the followers of an owner/admin to get all timeline updates?[/list]

For the favicon, make sure and grab the new Favicon module:

I'm not sure what you mean by "link this", where is that in the timeline?

I'm guessing you mean when you click on the "comments" link? I see the title overlapping the avatar image on the left. I'll get that fixed too.

This should be fixed now, you may need to reload the jrNova skin and the Activity Stream module in your ACP.

yeah @douglas I installed a clean install with no mods on a subdomain, thats why i was seeing LINK THIS instead of SHARE THIS (NOT COMMENTS).
Noticed another thing with the "share this" on Nova on a timeline which is module related
It has two images , One darker one sorta yellow.

It is in modules/jrAction/templates/item_list.tpl and another file I believe as I can't find the other one. I have managed to fix one area. Not a biggy though but would like to know the fix as I am using a Cloned Nova Skin ( Saves DiffMerge lol )

You'll want to remove the action_item_share class from the skins/jrNova/core_profile.css file.

I'll get that fixed too.

Ok I removed that and yes it got rid of the yellow one. But after you have shared it,
is it meant to go yellow or stay grey?
Mine stays grey? Not intuitive?

It stays grey... you would have to do something custom to make it change colors.

Oh ok, i thought the yellow one was to say " I have already shared this"

I'd imagine it would be another if statement in the jrActivity/templates/index_list.tpl to use a different image when it has been shared.

I haven't tried it so I'm not 100% sure it can even be done.

I'd start by putting a {debug} in the index_list.tpl and see what variables are available.
