Will there be an alternative shopping cart module to FoxyCart? Maybe a built in modules similar to FoxyCart with Merchandise store for users with their own Paypal accounts, an ecommerce marketplace where users can buy and sell anything?

I recall previous versions of Jamroom had these features. Advise?

I found this module, "PayPal Buy It Now" but it looks limited. Hope this module will be extended. Thanks.

FoxyCart is fully featured and provides everything needed for a Jamroom shopping cart. We currently have no plans for any others.

Alternatively checkout the PayPal module for users with their own PP accounts.

The Paypal module only works for buying media- audio and cds, do I understand that right?
I have cool pinback buttons I sell with my network name and logos...my members wear them to music festivals so they can connect with each other and meet up. :)

Right. FoxyCart can handle Paypal as well, so if you need to use the Merchandise store AND paypal, use paypal via foxycart.
