sitebuilder ez add slider and slideshow

plz consider eventually adding ez to add (in sitebuilder) slider and slideshow
what i mean is
1 slider that can show a series of "slides" (like elastics featured members) but you can choose the content wether it be text blocks and links phots as "ads" news items featured members or content whatever ..just so you can define what "slides' to show, how many and for how long

2 a slideshow of featured new, highest rated whatever images like the top 100 wether its 100 newest 100 highest rated or 100 most recently featured (or if featured you can select all featured not just 100)

for that matter if featured u can select random order

All that's possible right now, its just not drag'n'drop. The list functionality is the same as jrCore_list and will get anything it can get.

The returned results are limited to Profiles and Gallery because that was all I could think of for default settings.

If you use the TEMPLATE field of the form, you can make the slider do anything you want it to do.

If you give me some screenshots of what your after (made in photoshop or similar) i can show you how to structure the code.

Its not possible to create a one-size-fits-all for this situation because every module has different keys in the database. eg: profile module has a profile_name, but no profile_title. blog has a blog_title but no blog_name. Then linking to that blog requires a URL formed differently for each module. So it need to be handled on a case-by-case setup.

The default item row template is:
/modules/jrConstructionKit/templates/default_rotator_row.tpl

You can copy that to your skin and call it:
/skins/YOUR SKIN/jrConstructionKit_default_rotator_row.tpl

and change it all you like if you want.

diont see the sitebuilder as a released version in the marketplace bundles either
if you made this template but its unreleased can u shoot me the code plz

It still needs more, so I'll finish it off tomorrow. Examples of what you want to rotate would be useful.

newest and featured photos (featured random) side by side on the front page in place of the 6x2 grid or whatever itr is there showing 1 image every ..2-3 seconds
in shops featured shop profiles maybe random shops profiles i thinkit shows 4 randomly now but wouldf be good if it showed 4 then next 4 every 10 sec or so

is theres a newer veresion ofthe sitebuilder is there a newer version of the construtor kit i know your ready to release it but my constructor kit dont look like that i dont see it in released modules im using the beta im in the beta group so assumed id get upgrades the same way other modules upgrade


but i have no rotator options

A rotating member photo slideshow would be great on the Home page. As it is now, if one member posts 12 photos in a day, they pretty much take up the whole Home page photo section for themselves. This will encourage people who are trying to promote themselves. Or...I had a bunch of photos of a guy with a beer gut standing proudly in front of his lawn mower...or somebody's great grandchild newborn...not saying they can't add photos like that, but it's not really what I'd like to take over my music site's home page. Better to rotate random photos so you don't get a whole chunk from just one person taking up the home page... ever. Just a thought. (p.s. i do not have site builder for my ningja bundle)

thsts why i got 2 side by side 10 newest 10 most recently featured i wish we could do 100 like ning but all the photos load at page load so it madeit take 6 times longer to load
plus the numbers went wayyyy off the edhge
so i'll add a link to newest and featured full list
now in shops i have 2 random sliders of 10 featured shops at top and at bottom random shops

i might increase each of everything to 15 but would need a phone test and i have no phone

the rotators look sweet
