Saw an advert on TV this morning for "Black Friday Sale" which makes no sense here because we don't have thanks giving in Japan.

We had all our grown kids come and there was much hearth-side feasting and merriment.
There is a groundswell anti-blackfriday movement growing here in the US by the way. All the 'coolest' retail businesses are actually closing on black friday now. Word is that people like the 'novel' idea of spending that day with family or being outside rather than frantically shopping for material goods.
