I'm back in the guitar club. In my youth I was a bass player. After 18 years off I bought 3 guitars last year. American Standard Strat, Tele and Jazz Bass.

Oh man I want a new bass - I've got a cheap Sterling SUB series bass that works but the action is not very good and the E string buzzes on the first fret :(

Oh well - maybe someday!

My current trio are the finest instruments I've ever owned. I figured one last time, go big.

2 years ago I had all my music equipment stolen, which was really hard. I had a 1989 Fender Ultra Strat that was a dream to play, and a circa 2000 black Les Paul Studio that my wife bought for me (a total surprise on Christmas morning - I almost cried!). It was hard losing those guitars as they had a lot of sentimental value for me. What I have now is just not the same...

Man that really sucks. I hate to leave the house as it is.

I've never played a Les Paul. I considered getting one. They seem best suited for rock. While I tinker with rock, it's not my native style. I think it would go to waste.

My very first guitar was a Fender Jaguar. I have no idea what my dad was thinking. lol I later moved to bass and started with a Peavey T40. That sucker weighed about 15 lbs. After that, I bought an Ibanez and then a second Ibanez. So now I've returned home to Fender and I have all the guitars I plan to own.

I need at minimum an hour a day

An anonymous jumbo acoustic that my parents bought me for my 13th birthday.
Yamaha 12 string acoustic.
Squire Strat.
Tobias 'Toby Pro' 5 string fretless bass.
Don't play any of them much these days. More into my fiddles, cajun accordion and mandolins ;-)

I have a few.

Washburn Maverick series
Epiphone SG
BC Rich wannabe that was reworked, play really nice now.
Schecter 7String
and my pride and joy, Gibson Les Paul.

And I play all of them, they are all in a different tuning.

Man, you have a lovely wife! (I hope it's ok to say that here)

I guess I need to buy some instruments.
