HI! Cool to be here!
Just wanted to know...
1. Will the "URL" structure be the same, so all the Google Indexed URLS are the same?
2. Can I have a temporary URL until i switch the DNS?
3. Is it simple to Add "GOOGLE ADS" embeds on the site, wherever you want? At the top of every page etc?

THANKS!

1) No, but we do have a free module specifically developed for Ning migrants that can partly address this issue. It can be configured to generically redirect incoming urls to the Jamroom equivalent, for instance http://mysite.com/groups (Ning) => http://mysite.com/group (Jamroom), or http://mysite.com/members (Ning) => http://mysite.com/member (Jamroom).

2) Yes. With Jamroom Hosted you created a Jamroom installation with your target (primary) domain - mysite.com, say - and the site is initially accessible as the 'secondary' domain - mysitecom.jamroomhosting.com. At any time, but usually when site development is complete and you are ready to go live, point your domain name servers to Jamroom Hosted and switch the site to its primary domain. It will then be accessible at mysite.com (once the name server change has propagated).

3) Yes - Most of our skins allow for GoogleAds in their configuration (just add your Google ID). Alternatively, just paste any ad script into the templates where you want the ad to show, or, if using SiteBuilder, paste the script into a 'code widget'.

Hope that helps

1. Will this effect my Search rankings? And will the NEW Jamroom pages be indexed by google in the Long run?

Not sure how ranking might be affected in the short term, but with Jamroom you have full control over your page meta tags and we also have a SiteMap module which dynamically creates and maintains full sitemap.xml files so that a new site and subsequent changes to it should be indexed pretty quickly.

When you're ready to try Jamroom out, just spin up a 14 day free trial server via your Hosting Control Panel here - https://www.jamroom.net/benarion/hosting/overview
