the new ningja skin removes multiple menu items, several global config options wont stick when saved (checkboxes uncheck themselves)

the biggest issue is that the menu deletes several menu items

Skins don't really "delete" anything - it may have hidden something that was previously showing, but it's not going to delete anything.

Global Config options are handled by the core - I'm not seeing any issues with saving them here in Ningja.

If you could be specific and succinct about the exact config options or menu items you see problems with, that would be helpful.

sure
shops menu item vanishes completely, dreadlocks forums becomes forums
at least 1 or 2 others im unsure of vanish photos became images
on global config
url to site forums, the checkbox under it i think its show site tag cloud
the profile tab all of them show stats profile questions, every single option

i check them paste in the url etc click save says its saved but everything i checked or pasted in is blank again

when trafics low ill switch over take screenshots

player reverts to blue monday too its weird,the site index settings finaly stuck

If your using a cloned skin nothing in the jrNingja skin update will change anything in your cloned skin, it just isn't possible.

Unless, you've manually taken the changes from the jrNingja skin and added them to your cloned skin?

what i do is, clone the new version, then do a compare to all my altered ones, copy over just the stuff i altered
upload photos change setting then activate

oh and ofcourse backup the 3 css files and upload my versions and upload all my custom templates

Yeah, you may have some code that isn't compatible or just not working, can you add the changes one at a time to see where it goes wrong?
