Working for me. You have got the 'Add To Timeline' option checked in the forum global config presumably?

FWIW, I made one of my logins into a Profile Admin, and in that configuration, updates don't appear (even with Add to Timeline checked) - so I changed back...

It is effecting both Group discussions posts AND forum discussions posts? And comment wall comments? Or just some of those items?

I seem to recall that latest FORUM posts don't normally appear in the main page activity feed by default. I had to create a special content block on y home page showing specifically Latest Forum Posts. Also had to create one on my Profile pages. Is this perhaps the same thing you are talking about?

It's important to understand that if an admin is adding media or doing things on a profile that is NOT their "home profile", activity timeline entries will NOT be created - timeline activity only works if you are managing your own profile. For example, if you are a site admin and you go into one of your users blog posts and fix a typo, it is NOT going to create a timeline entry in your timeline OR the profile's timeline for the blog you fixed since you are not on your "home" profile.

what about creating posts or adding replies to posts in the 'forums' profile since ning requires the forums to be imported into a seperate profile

and why is it that regular users who post and reply show up not admins

i understand the logic in modifying it if your corecting typos
but some modifications like marking it featured should show up

and posting and replying should always show up
no matter the profile

This is not supported at this time in comments or followup posts to a forum (i.e. what I am doing right now). We have to get support into the templates to add a "add to timeline" checkbox, since not everyone wants every single thing they do added to their timeline (for example I have 6,000+ posts here in the forum and really don't want all of those to be timeline entries) so it needs to be a choice like everywhere else.

It's something we can check out.

Thanks!
