solved Google Webmaster Tools - Site Crawl Errors - Locate and Fix?

Okay - now that I have submitted a sitemap and Google has started crawling I am getting "not found" crawl errors (over 2000!).

In some cases I can go and find the new page but in many cases it's impossible. Even when I can find them I don't think that there's any way for me to find where the bad URL is and fix it.

Here's one where I can find the image in question:

photo/sesame-ginger-truffles?xg_source=activity

I searched Images for "sesame" and found it - so I know how to change the URL if I could find the broken one.

Any thoughts on ways to proceed? I am not going to be able to fix all of them, but do want to eliminate as many 404s as possible.

TIA,
:: Clay

Not that I can see. All I get is URL fragments like the ones above.

Those URLs are not Jamroom URLs, so the errors are likely from your site before you moved to Jamroom hosting.

Clear all the errors and watch over the next few weeks what comes back.

Ah, if those URL's are from the previous site, then you'll want use the url mapper module to point them to where you actually want them to go:

"URL Mapper"
