completed Private Notes question

I have:

purchased and installed the module
activated it
set the quota configs for it

And it's not showing up anywhere that I can see. I would have expected it to show up on my profile in the menu bar or in the Followers page in my profile somewhere. Does this need to manually be added (e.g., to the top nav)?

Hover over your user name in the top menu bar. The link should be there.

Yes, it is. Thanks.

When I send a note to a recipient (admins can send notes to people they are not following) do I need the @ in front of the membername? Or just the membername?

Just the member name. As you type you'll be prompted with members to select from.
