couple questions bout the new developer tool

1 when i usualy upgrade a skin i clone the new upgraded skin then compare my current skins checked templates and update the new skin to have my edits, i think the new cloner only clones your already edited skin keeping the edits? or does it apply your edits to the upgraded version..im thinking i will still need to copy over my edits after every upgrade huh

2 will it clone custom made templates that wernt part of the original skin

its just that i am now thinking its..awesome but not as awesome as i original thought i thought when i upgraded a skin and cloned it it would preserve my edits

i wonder if thered be away of cloning the upgraded skin into the edited skin using the same name and have it merged

its just that my edits are getting more and mor extensive and starting to make alot of custom templates and still think that every skin upgrade will be an all day project (not that i mind)

It makes a copy of the skin when its copied. After that its un-connected.

You want a merge tool to compare what you have with other locations. Thats something I want to look at too. Not sure where to put my time right now.

ok so it would copy the whole directory including custom templates
i think thats whatyour saying but still doesnt help with the upgrade process

well...dont put your time there...eventualy sure but thats like way low on the priorities list its like a nice thing to consider someday..but theres alot more that should come 1st

so far loving the beta builder
i have a feeling many of the issues i was having had to do with having around 200 tabs open ..multitasking maniac
tho i havent tested the code thing again the button unresponsiveness issues fixed
and ive learned alot in the past couple days working with it ...still struggling to figure a few things out but im getting closer to done daily
