i took another look at the sitebuilder and was wondering about the menu once its built would there be a menu below the main menu or would the 2 menus be sort of integrated into 1 when not in admin view
do you have any examples of a site built with the sitebuilder i can take a look at

It will be added into jrNingja. Just making sure its all good now, then it will be released.

The menu items will look the same as they do now on jrNingja.

Michael that is going to be SOOOOO much easier for us all! Thank you for your efforts! :)

@Michael: -I assume we will be able to edit the module names within that edit area as well?- like renaming the "Activity" title to say "Latest Activity" if we like, for example?

i believe so since you will have them as drag and drop modules that you can customize you should..i think..also be able to edit whats in the latest activity

to be honnest i wasnt so excited bout the site builder with slate
but if site builders added to ningja and the ningjas basicly what we have now but easily editable and extendable then ..thats the most exciting news so far

the day thats ready i will make a big post in ning creators and i bet ya get a dozen or more in a day

@michael if your able to even give a veryu rough eta on this just wether its weeks or months i will go ahead today and post a "whats to come and when" type post on creators and get ppl excited

It will be out with the next skin update. Don't make the announcement until we're sure its ll good.

The beta forums are pretty silent. I'm not getting much feedback on whats broken at all. That could be good or bad, I'm not sure.

-- edit --
Yeah, you will be able to edit the names and move stuff around. The Ningja version is more complicated than the Slate version as the skin provides its own templates. Good example of their being no limits on the system though.

I'm just wondering why the SiteBuilder is being built around the Slate skin, if it's the Ningja skin that is going to be recommended to Ning migrants- is there a reason?

Its not being built for ning users especially. It was just 'being built'. If the ning skin was the only one to use it then the whole skin would have to wait for that system to be finished before it was useable.

Not all ning users are going to want to use the site builder (maybe they are, not sure.).

Slate was stripped down from Elastic and given some neutral colors. Seamed like a good place to start from to build a non-specific community site.

Site Builder system did get a bump up the priority list when Ning users came around though. :) Seams to like a good fit.

sold. I sent you an invite to a private beta channel to allow you to install the next version of the jrNing skin.

Continue site builder related conversation here:
https://www.jamroom.net/site-builder/forum/beta-testers

Try to break it, tell me what you did.

Thanks. I'll have the skin in that channel in a few min
