How can I remove the alternative Quota option on the sign up page? I do not want people signing up for any Quota they choose, but rather assign Quota manually after they join.

Thank you.

In the ACP select User Profiles, then the quota tab.
Work through the quotas disabling the signup option for those quotas you don't want showing on the signup page.

Thanks Paul.
Now I seem to recall that somewhere I stumbled into a place where I had a choice of making a member be an 'admin' or not- and I had TWO choices for the LEVEL of admin: one with FULL admin privileges (like me as site owner) and another with a slightly lower set of privileges- which would be good for moderators but not admins.
Now I can't remember where I saw that 2 admin types choice... d'ohhh! Any hints?

Paul I seem to have run into some trouble with the Create Account and the Quotas.

I added several new fields to the "Create A New Account" Form Designer.
However, only a few fields show up when attempting to Created a New Account, and new users are unable to do so because they received an "invalid" entry message for the new fields I've added but are not visible to them.

Any suggestions?

Are the groups for the new fields set to "All Users (including logged out)"?

OK that worked. But I still can't remove the option for choosing quotas.
I only have two quotas and don't seem to be able to prevent both appearing in the drop down menu.

Its probably under the users settings on that users 'account' tab.

So as the admin user click on their profile image on their profile to get to their PROFILE tab in their account, then change to the ACCOUNT tab and at the bottom you will see:

Quote:
master admin options
user group

with these setting options
Quote:
Select the user group this user should be part of:

Standard User: a normal user account in your system - can modify items they have created only.
Profile Admin: can modify users and profiles and items created by any user on the system. Has access to the Dashboard.
Master Admin: full access to all system areas including the Admin Control Panel and Dashboard.

I still can't get rid of this option... what am I not doing or doing wrong?
I don't want Admin Quota to appear at sign up... so I have left a note for now ("Select User Quota")
Shall I just remove that particular Quota from the Quota Manager?

Isleander:..I don't want Admin Quota to appear at sign up...

If you look at the "Quota Browser" under:
ACP -> USER PROFILES -> TOOLS -> QUOTA BROWSER
( yoursite.com/profile/quota_browser )

You will see which quotas allow signups and which don't.

Click the green dot on the "Admin Quota" to be taken to the screen to adjust its settings. uncheck the box that reads "Allow Signups" then save.
