love love love the new profile improvements
but a couple notes for improvements
1 still n9o commenting (im sure u knew) and cant post to followers timelines still (since the 1.02)
2 the music and vids sections have both vertical and horizontal scroll when horizontals not needed...or functional theres no slider to scroll just the 'tract' (not sure what the right term is) that the scroller would scroll on
3 photo gallery still unresponsive but tharts probly not a skin but module issue..so probly not worth mentioning but in case it was askin thing...

other then those minor things.. love the improvements so far
now the comments would be great as a wider module below the rest (right 2 columns)

Profile Comments will be in the next release - they take a little bit more to support.

You will not be able to post to another user's timeline in Jamroom - core level permissions will not allow that.

I'm not seeing that here - what browser are you using?

When you say "unresponsive" do you mean it does not work (i.e. it is "locked") or do you mean mobile view?

Thanks!

I don't see any issue, so not sure what you're fixing...

maybe its my css i dunno but on my profile i saw it thoubgh i fixed it in the template
just the music and video modules had a scrollbar across tyhe bottom as well weven though they didnt scroll
if i adjusted the width by 2% or so it went away but then didnt fit right with the title

minor issue i easily fixed by editing the template just had a feeling it was on all profiles ...i guess i was wrong and might have been something i tweaked in css

verified activated the unmodified 1.03 and on the front page only shows 1/2 the icons for audio

without testing..and just guesstimating from mem ory i believe thats a col11 with a width set at 8.33% 9.33% wass too big a guestimate of about 9.75-9% would do it although a think a px value would work better set to the px size of the play button

yeah that's the issue - should be col2 / col8 not col1 / col9. I will get that fixed here.

Thanks!

awesome and hey just to be extra safe wich i assume height values cant break responsiveness but i changed the profile vid and music sections from 300px to 325 and looks a hell of alot better

i just think those old outdated scrollbars look so horible on a sleek responsive site

now on my ning 3.0 before i switched the style around i had this scrollbar on my profiles http://manos.malihu.gr/jquery-custom-content-scroller/
it looked so sweet
is there anyway to add that..or something simular to that to anywhere an in page scrollbar would apear (if only it could also be applied to the full page html but ive never managed to get that to work)

for sleek mobile 1st designs i think it really makes a big diference in the overall look

You would just want to work that in to your site. Personally I'm not a fan of replacing the scroll bars on a site, as it confuses the user (who is used to their native scroll bars), but if you want to add that in you could do it in the templates.

Hope this helps!

ajnd i know many of them are already known issues i believe but theres no known issues lists or anything

We maintain the Issue Tracker here on the profile, and add issues to them as they are reported. If you think we've overlooked something let me know and I can check it out.

We don't have an issue tracker that anyone can add to (that's effectively what the forums are here for) as we need to be able to check the issue out, understand it and decide if it is actually an issue or not.

Hope this helps!

1 comments need pagination or somertthing and dont think i see them all i probably have a few thousand and althhough the list is long..too long for a single page it doesnt seem like enough

2ndly the profiles ..odd instead of howe it was with the sidebar then the bio area and whatnot below it the sidebars above everything with a big wempty space to the right

and 3rd for some reason..and i cant figure out why im seeing both the pause and play buttons on all audio

i dont think i changed anything that shouold affect the audio index page or anything ..and i6t seems like all audio in lists everrywnere
tho it started just b4 the update not after wich really had me confused

"...dont think i see them all i probably have a few thousand and althhough the list is long..too long for a single page it doesnt seem like enough"

Soaring & Brian and all-
Something we should keep in mind is that by DEFAULT the Ning 2.0 Archiver tool only downloads the most recent 10,000 of any type of item. Now, there have been instances such as for mine (and maybe for Soaring's too)- where we've asked the Ning tech team to help us with archiving problems and they had told me they purposely lifted the ten thousand limit thing for my network archiver to avoid problems- maybe they did that for SE as well. HOWEVER, just know that others may not have had their limits raised, OR maybe not all of our 'types' of items had their limits raised. It could actually be that the Ning archiver will not download more than 10,000 comments, and it's something that's hard to verify because comments aren't readily visible in a neat folder.

So... all i'm saying is that in the future when Ningers come here they might use the JR import module and then may report that they are 'missing' stuff ...stuff that in fact the Ning Archive tool may not have downloaded to begin with. I'm not saying this is what SE's issue is, but we should just keep this in mind going forward.

There are a bunch of issues in the tracker here, its just that they are all tagged private.

The pattern that seams to be normal is: the thread in the forums is where we keep the public info so everyone can talk about it, then we read and put any needed info into the tracker.

It works well when threads stay on one topic, but when threads get added to after the first issue is solved it gets a little messier.

So if you have a specific issue if you put it in a thread, then we can use the SOLVED functionality as a type of public issue tracker.

eg: look at the forums threads page here:
"Questions about Jamroom"
https://www.jamroom.net/ning-to-jamroom/forum/questions-about-jamroom

and find "Video File Size Upload". You'll see its marked as SOLVED.

Not so many forum posts in this ning-to-jamroom section get marked as SOLVED because its more of a discussion atmosphere than a "How do i do this" question one.

We are reading though and there is a tracker. :)

Your seeing that on your /audio page because you have a javascript error

TypeError: pl.jPlayer is not a function
http://greentechnologyforums.com/audio
Line 151

Which is probably caused by other javascript added to the page that is broken earlier on that causes that location to break.

Its saying "I tried to load the player, but couldn't find it."

since the code itself looks right, the first thing to figure out is is there any other javascript that's been added that causes that to break.
