I wanted to post a quick note to let everyone know what the latest status was on the updates to the Ning Importer on getting it setup with the new Profile Groups.
I had hoped to have that released today, but it looks like it is going to be Thursday - I'm actually heading out of the office in about 30 minutes and will be out of the office the rest of the day today and tomorrow. I've got the Ning Importer updates about 90% complete, and it's looking really good - I figure I have about 3-4 hours of development and testing left, and I am certain I can complete it on Thursday. I've had a family event come up here last minute that I need to attend, and apologize for the delay.
I'm also wondering if a current Ning user would allow me to download their Ning Archive for testing purposes - ideally something on the larger side that makes use of as many different Ning features as possible. If you can help, send me an email at brian [at] jamroom [dot] net with info on how I can get it.
On Thursday there will be another Jamroom Core update that will be needed to handle some of the new changes, as well as another NingJa Skin update that should go a long way to making the profile "index" much more in line with what Ning users are looking for.
So I appreciate everyone's patience - we're working really hard to make sure your move to Jamroom is very smooth, and we're fixing things up here as quick as we can, but sorry for the small "delay".
