I have a self-hosted site that is sitting at a subdomain (sub.domain.tld) and I want to change the subdomain – new_sub.domain.tld.

What changes do I need to make in the ACP and what changes need to be made to config files to ensure a smooth transition?

For those with experience, what DNS changes need to be made to ensure that SEO associated with the legacy domain is not lost?

As far as the site, you'd just make it so that its visible on new_sub.domain.tld then change the /data/config/config.php file to point to that domain instead. The database stuff is likely the same.

Don't know about the SEO part sorry.
