i was having all sorts of issues installing sphider plus a custom search engine for your site
trying to login to admin and add the databases (it can use up to 5 seperate databases to use diferent databases for each task) (or can run on 1. 3 5 whatever)
everytime i did it would kick me back to admin andnot letme login
or well id have to re-login

meanwhile the router.php and mysql were causing very high cpu loads

my suspicion is that router.php was trying to handle the logins
but even an hour after i stopped the cpu loads are very high

as a precaution i deleted the entire search engine folder
but router.php continues to use a ton of cpu ..under low server loads

You might try installing it in a sub-domain. Everything in jamroom goes through that single point:
router.php

Cant say why it would be experiencing extra loads though as I've never dealt with that script. Perhaps its still running spiders and needs to finish that run-out.

impossible as it never even installed never connected to a database
never had a chance to run a spider and now the files were deleted

its odd that cometchat installed fine and runs just the logins not integerating right

maybe cometchat should be on a subdomain too?

Don't know sorry, i'm unfamiliar with that script, so cant offer much useful advice on what might be wrong or were to start looking for whats wrong.

im going to give it a shot on a subdomain.. cometchat too
just really wondering if that had anything to do with router going haywire like trying and trying to handle the requests but not able to and just sitting there chewing up cpu cycles
its like every instance of router was using roughly 25% cpu and there were a dozen or so using that much

its just a guess tho
