Hello

I have a question about Aparna, I was using in a development server testing and playing around with it, until i got my self into how to move the Aparna module a create xxNewModule from Dev Server to Live Jamroom.

let say i create everything I need on the development server using form design and is ready for what fully rested,
how can i move it, there is no option to package the module, do i copy xxNewModule from the server and copy to the alive server, do that will work. ? what about Form Designer Modifications?

You would want to use the Developer Module "package module" tool to export the module as a ZIP file, and check the option to export the form designer fields - that will create a ZIP file of your module for you.

Hello @brian

Yes I Know Development tools have that option, the problem is for a fresh install am not seeing that option anywhere, do i have to modify anything manually, or it comes right out the box. i try to put development prefix, but i guess i have to register with jamroom for that,

so my question is the follow,
1. Do i have to register with jamroom to have "Package Module" option enable?

2. do i have to activate something on jamroom on a fresh install for "Package Module" option to work?

Checking this out it looks like you have to have a dev account here on Jamroom.net to get the developer prefix - let me check this out and see if this can be enabled without needing a dev account.

@brian hello any update with development module packaging for non jamroom development,

If not, how can i hire jamroom team or support to help me, move aparna module from dev server to a live server.

Hello @brian

Am trying to copy the sql from one database to the new database.
am having problems exporting jr_jrcore_form in order to import in the new database
and i don't want to redo the apana module in the live version i will take to much time.
when you can or have time help me what will be the best solution for me to transfer the database from one location to the next. thank you

I thought we added a feature where any modules prefixed with 'xx' could be exported via the package manager without a jamroom.net developer account. Not seeing it though.

Will look into this.
