first thing you want to do is point your Name Servers to the settings found here:
https://www.jamroom.net/dianebrooks/hosting/server_config/355

ns1.linode.com
ns2.linode.com
ns3.linode.com
ns4.linode.com
ns5.linode.com
I believe you said you were using godaddy for your domain purchase.....?

Godaddy Docs: "Set custom nameservers for domains registered with GoDaddy"
https://nz.godaddy.com/help/set-custom-nameservers-for-domains-registered-with-godaddy-12317

You cant setup SSL until this is done because the purpose of SSL is to ensure that the domain name matches the server its supposed to.

I use namecheap ( https://www.namecheap.com ) for my domain names, you can use whoever you like. :)

You have 2 domain names on Jamroom Hosing, the ???.jamroomhosting.com one is online regardless of your name server settings, so you can use that one to setup while waiting for the name server changes to kick in. can take up to 24 hours.

See them both here:
https://www.jamroom.net/dianebrooks/hosting/server_settings/355

(not sure if you want your domain name posted in the forums or not, hence the link. click on the domain name to go to it.)

Where are you seeing that error? It doesnt look like a normal jr error.

it stopped when i set up an email....in the mailgun area...
but now it says something about contacting support concerning my ssl cert....
sorta tired right now so going to sleep...
will deal with it more later....
good night everyone

We'll get the SSL cert sorted after the NameServers have time to propagate.

ok i ended up deleting the domain then re-did the install using solo pro...
now it wont let me log in. I even tried re-doing a new password and it still wont let me log in
and I can no longer get my mail at freebyrd.org since i switched nameservers...should i keep my powweb nameservers on the list along with the jamroom nameservers?
i had the 2 step authentication set on jamroom and now i cant get to mail to get code.

so discouraged right now...at my self

If you DELETE a domain, and then recreate the domain, you will need to CREATE your admin account again. When you delete a domain on hosting it deletes EVERYTHING for that domain - all the Jamroom files, the database, etc.

So just go here:

http://freebyrd.org/

and click on "signup" - the first account created is the master admin account.

Let's take things one step at a time. Let's get your email working, then we can check on SSL after we are sure the site is functioning properly.

Email setup is here:
https://www.jamroom.net/dianebrooks/hosting/domain_aliases/355/id=1271

Enter the email address you want to receive emails at, then your gmail email address and they will all be forwarded to your gmail.

What I do from there is to setup a rule that any email coming in on that email address gets put in its own folder. Makes it easy to keep everything separate.

You just need to do like Michael has pointed out. You need to create a NEW email alias for the email addresses on your domain. Have this setup with you Gmail or Yahoo (or whatever) account. Then, when someone sends email to whatever@yourdomain.com you'll receive it at your gmail account (or whatever email you setup in the alias).

You can, just forward it to gmail. gmail has better spam filtering than any private server you could run yourself.

Do this:

- open a ticket with us that contains your Mailgun login and the email addresses you want to have setup and WHERE they should be forwarded to
- we will set it up so it all works.

Thanks!
