What host do you recommend? Niche site. Starting over with jr5 so not a lot of users or traffic at this point, but possibly a lot of space I'll be utilizing for content built up over the years.

I've been with my current host for many years, but my site has been down for two days as I write this and it was down for several days a couple weeks back. Support is hard to reach. They're highly recommended here and I'd really like to stay, but I'm finding it hard to deal with the 500 server errors and 5-minute page load times.

Brian said in another thread that he was soon going to do a blog on how to set up a DigitalOcean server (droplet) for JR5.
I use DO for a couple of my sites. I think that will be the way to go.

I'm using Digital Ocean for test sites and it is a great system. Spinning up droplets around the world from snapshots is a great feature, and it is billed hourly so it costs cents to create a new server, try something out and then destroy it at the end of the day.

Previously I used Linode, which was more powerful but $20/month for one vps whilst DO is only costing $5/month per vps.
