Prioritizing queue jobs

Is there a way to prioritize queue jobs? e.g. If I want certain types of jobs to be executed first?

Sorry for the delay in responding.
Looking at the queue table and the code I'm pretty sure there isn't. It looks as though jobs are picked off in the order that they are queued.
