Please do not take personally that I'm trying to express.

When the first time I decided to use jamroom it was at early Jamroom4 release.

There was a paid service support for quick response, but not paid membership.

Moving to jamroom5 your company decided to have paid subscribers, even for people that owns multiple licences. I agreed with that too.

I figured out that jamroom needs to find the way to make extra money.

What I don't agreed is that you had changed from 15 to 30 days to be able to download a paid or any kind of new modules, skins etc.

I'm against paying for subscription, specially if I have to pay for licenses for use. I strongly believe any that is paid for it should have support.

On my opinion, if there is anything that is for sale in the market place, there should not be locked for 30 days for none paid subscribers. I may agreed if something is free, but not for something that I have to pay.

I own 3 licenses for jamroom and I had paid a lot of money since day day on until now. As you may remember the license for jamroom 4 used to cost $499 and the Projam, Media Pro skins used to cost $199 plus extra modules. I did not mind a that time because it was worth it.

But now, as a loyal customer, being prevented to download paid modules for 30 days is not fair.

You may disagree on this, but that is may opinion.

Thank You

New modules have a 30 day wait for non subscribers. That means non-subscribers have to wait 30 days after a new module has been released to purchase it.

That's all. If you're hosted with Jamroom Hosting then you get all the modules for free as soon as they come out.

Any module that is older than 30 days is available for anyone to purchase (if paid) or download for free.

This does not apply to updates, just initial releases. So any module that is older than 30 days is open for everyone.

I think Luis is more concerned with the time frame of 30 days. The way i'm reading it is, He feels it is too long of a waiting time to have access to get a module from the Marketplace whether it is for free or you have to pay for it if your a a non subscriber.(especially if your going to have to pay for the module and is willing to pay for the module) It increase from 15 days to 30 days..I really didn't notice that increase... I myself is not a subscriber and has wonder why so long..30 days is a long time..even for the simplest module.

A lot of site owners are working with a deadline on creating there site to be how it looks and function and when they see that there is something new that can help to take there site to the next level they would love to get that module now...not later..especially 30 days later.

.and sometimes I have been itching just to get that simple module...it's like getting that new cellphone when it comes out..it just a matter of waiting..but I do understand how things works ..everything has a Monopoly baby...;)

We've worked hard to make Jamroom 5 significantly more affordable than Jamroom 4 - all modules are priced lower, and skins are priced MUCH lower. There's no more charge to go to "unlimited" profiles, and you can get a fairly full system for free.

One thing we have learned over the years of supporting Jamroom is that users that are waiting on, or really need a specific module are also the ones who are the mostly likely to request feature enhancements or changes to how the module works. The $29 a year VIP Member subscription helps cover the additional work that always comes around after a new module is released, while allowing us to keep the module cost lower.

I appreciate the feedback, and I hope you know that we're doing our best to build a business around Jamroom - that means trying to find the best balance of recurring revenue as well as one time revenue. Sometimes we will get this "just right", sometimes it will take some tweaking. Regardless, I hope that even when you include a $29 yearly VIP Member subscription that you feel that Jamroom 5 is a good deal for what it provides.

Thanks!
