Is there a way to have a audio player that is fixed inside the header or footer like in itunes or reverbnation.

Do you mean a 'persistent' player that continues the same track even when changing pages?

@maxcinsay has helped a couple of other users do this. See this thread - https://www.jamroom.net/the-jamroom-network/forum/design-and-skin-customization/7417/persistent-music-player-responsive-design-jamroom-5

This is something that will eventually find it's way into Jamroom - the problem right now is that it requires you to build the site as a "single page" AJAX app, which would be much too complicated for our users to customize.

I've got an idea how to make this work with any skin, but it's going to require a change out to using SoundManager2 for all audio (instead of jPlayer) so will be something you see in a major release of JR (i.e. 5.3, 5.4, etc.).

I have not started on it at this time.

Ive been tinkering with it slightly but not much luck yet. This guy had an interesting way of making the iframe route a little more viable: http://josephbeeson.com/index.php?mact=News%2Ccntnt01%2Cprint%2C0&cntnt01articleid=2&cntnt01showtemplate=false&cntnt01returnid=17

I have no idea if this route would work, its never quite as easy as a tutorial makes it seem lol.
