how is a user creating a profile?

Your questions are very often really hard to understand.

"How to ask for help"

Guess: It's probably related to no quotas being set to allow signups.

Michael, can you create an account and try to update your profile ? ,i.e. "add photo" and you will see what I mean when you tries to save

There was an issue with this a long time ago on old installs, and I have a feeling this is what you are seeing. Using the Developer Tools module, launch the Database Admin tool. Click on "select" by the jr_jrcore_form table, and page through until find the entry where:

module = jrProfile
view = settings
name = profile_quota_id

and delete it by putting a checkmark next to the "edit" link on the left, then press the "delete" button at the bottom.

Reset caches and that should be fixed. That field should only show to admin users - not normal users, which is why the options are showing up empty.

Hope this helps!

A regular user should not see the quota selector in their profile settings - if they do, something is wrong.

You'll want to resend it to us, we don't keep that kind of info on record.

Thanks,
Douglas

Use css to change the color of the text.

Cool that it isn't a bump. But please make it funnier, you know you can.

Your right, the jrProfile > settings > profile_quota_id is not in your jr_core_form table. Did you reset the cache and try making a modification to the profile in question?

Note that you'll need to login as the user of the profile, not the admin.

This would be in your skins/jrNova/css/core_tabs.css file. You can also edit it via the ACP > Skins > Styles section.
